This is a pack of wax guards, which you should have a set of in your welcome gift bag. Yours may look slightly different if you don't have Signia or Widex aids.
Wax guards need to be changed regularly, otherwise the sound cannot get out of the hearing aid effectively. We will have changed the wax guards at your appointment but many patients forget or lose their maintenance guide.
Sometimes it’s easier to see something being done, rather than have it explained in words. Here is a video to help you remember the procedure for changing your wax guards / wax filters.
