Troubleshooting iPhone to Hearing Aid connections

If you are having problems hearing phone calls through your hearing aids, first check they are both still connected to the iPhone. Go to:

Settings/Accessibility/Hearing Devices

You should see your hearing aids listed in blue, and if both are connected, you should see R + L (for right and left).

If no aids are showing, please follow the pairing guide.

If only R or L can be seen, you should remove and re-pair the aids. You'll need to tap on the blue writing to enter the settings for the aids:

Any connected aids will show their battery strength, you'll also see options for them. Scroll all the way down this page to the bottom of the screen:

And you will see Forget this device. Tap on that, and the phone will erase the pairing between the aids and the phone.

You can then start again with a fresh pairing of both your aids.

If this happens repeatedly, contact your audiologist as there may be a fault. Please note that your phone's Bluetooth should always be switched on to maintain your connection to the aids.
