“I've had tinnitus in my right ear for 2 years. I sleep with one earbuds in my left ear, but at the lowest possible sound volume, white noise. Is it considered safe to do so?”
Another one from my mailbag.
Yes this is absolutely fine, and if it’s helping you then keep on doing what is helpful.
I’d be happier if you had a speaker in the room, or a pillow speaker though, just to avoid having your ear plugged up all night. But if this is the only option (perhaps you have a partner who is a light sleeper) then just ensure you sanitise the earbud with e.g. alcohol wipes.
