Junk Mail and Cold Calls Forever - the Free Hearing Test
I am so tired of junk mail. Worse still are the marketing calls, simply because I forgot to tick a box on a form.
I’m STILL receiving letters from Boots Hearing Care 7 years after I upgraded my hearing aids.
I got five calls from Hidden Hearing (now Audika), roughly every six months after doing their online test. I had to ring them to get off their list, and it is changing to use the phone when you have profound hearing loss, as I do.
Audika also rang me (after coming off the list) because I once had some aids, 15 years ago, from Amplifon! Amplifon and Hidden Hearing have now merged to become Audika, so they united their database and started pestering even the oldest ex-customers.
If you would like a free hearing test you can get one. But as they say, if it’s free then you’re the product. If you would like an in-depth assessment, a frank yet caring discussion about your concerns, come to me.
I’ll discuss your results and issues. You won’t be rushed, and I’ll send you a copy of those test results along with a written version of my recommendations. If you need a GP or ENT referral there is no extra charge for producing any of these documents.
I do charge for a 90 minute hearing assessment, but I don’t use your data unless you’ve asked me to contact you. Your data is kept incredibly safely, guarded even, and certainly never sold.
Your assessment fee is refunded to you if you do need to purchase aids from me, but it’s certainly not an obligation. No sales patter during a hearing assessment, but I will send/discuss further information if you are interested in it.
There’s no reason why all companies can’t operate this way.
I give Hearing Care The Way It Should Be - and I really mean it.
Best,
Sally
